When it comes to reducing CO₂ emissions, knowledge is the first step to change.

• 2% of our CO₂ emissions are direct emissions from owned or controlled sources like manufacturing (Scope 1)
• 4% are indirect emissions from the purchase of energy (Scope 2)
• 94% of our CO₂ emissions are indirect emissions from the supply chain with raw materials like cement as a key driver (Scope 3)

It is our goal to …

• Reach CO₂ neutrality for direct emissions from owned or controlled sources (Scope 1) and indirect emission from the purchase of energy (Scope 2) in Europe by 2035
• Be CO₂ neutral groupwide for all direct and indirect emissions (Scope 1–3) by 2045
